The thermal stripping oven
An 8 × 8 × 12 foot chamber held at 800°. Coatings break down to a fine residue that rinses and blasts away, leaving bare metal with its dimensions untouched. Most loads are back to you within a couple of days.
Auto restoration
Bodies, frames and brackets with decades of paint on them.
Powder coated parts
Rejects and recoats stripped clean so they can run again.

Three questions people ask before they call
What it is
Abrasive fired at the part under air pressure. It knocks off everything that isn’t metal, and leaves the surface with a fine texture.
That texture is the whole point. It is what makes powder coating stick instead of flake off in two winters.
When you need it
Any time the part already has rust, paint, powder or mill scale on it. New steel from the mill counts.
Skip it and the new finish is only as good as the old one underneath, which is why coatings fail early.
How it goes
Drop the part off or we pick it up. We mask threads and bearing surfaces, blast, blow it off with dry air, and look it over.
From there it goes to primer the same day, or gets wrapped and staged for you to collect.
